"DJ Dean from Pittsburgh DJ Company really helped make my friend's wedding extra-special by playing the things WE wanted to hear. Instead of the usual, run of the mill Yanni (should be called "Yawn-ie") easy-listening music during dinner; he created a mood of relaxed elegance by playing wonderful, classy artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and of course, Sinatra. But instead of all of the old standards, he brought out jewels that we all love but hardly ever get to hear, making for loads of those "Oh my God I love this song!" moments.
Later, he really kicked it into high gear with great dance music, but again, not the tired, overplayed songs like "Macarena" that every DJ in PGH for some reason thinks has to be played. This guy KNOWS music, LOVES music, and it shows! He had a great, fun personality, announced everything clearly and with panache' but wasn't flashy or "showy". He knew the day was about the bride & groom and made sure that they were the center of the show. Great job DJ Dean! I would definitely recommend him again and again..."

"DJ Dean was a blast to work with. We have used him twice for our Student University Functions and both times he has blown me away. Besides being incredibly affordable he also possessed an awesome selection of music including all genres and tastes. Both events lasted three hours and not once was the dance floor not packed and moving with excited guests.
Also of note is his lighting system. For a traveling DJ, it is quite possibly the best portable system I have had the good fortune of working with. It really takes a good event and makes it excellent and 10x more professional.
